Alfa Romeo Electric Lease Deals UK

The Italian influence in the electric vehicle market has been somewhat subdued. Until 2024, the main players in the EV sphere were very much Chinese, American and USA-based corporations. However, this is now set to change with the Milan-based Alfa team now committing their product to the electric car market.

With historically popular combustion products like the MiTo, Giulietta and 4C having already won the hearts of many leasing customers in the UK, the addition of lithium-ion tech could prove to be a sage move for the group

The Alfa team have not been quiet on the push towards all-electric vehicles, with their CEO committing to a seismic shift by 2027. As part of the new branding and product suite, there was a bigger SUV launched in hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) format. The Tonale represented quite a big move, with a 15.5 kWh battery capable of around 20-30 miles of pure electric driving. But things are about to get a whole lot more exciting for the team, with the battery electric tech now coming.

Why choose to lease an Alfa Romeo Electric?

The Italian car makers are a refreshing move away from clinical and austere car designs. Luxury and sport-orientated, the group have managed to bring motorsport excitement to the affordable car market in the UK. Where EVs do get pushback, is from those personal, or business, lease customers who do want more character and finesse to their automotive experience; this is where Alfa does offer a salient solution.

And underneath the chassis is the battery tech from the holding company – Stellantis. This Italian-American conglomerate is a combination of key brands like Citroen, DS Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, Vauxhall and Peugeot - with many of these brands well into the electric car transition.

Some have multiple options within each car segment. For the end user, this guarantees a positive experience with facets like range, charging times, charging speeds and functionality all taken care of. The EV driving experience is not a new one for this brand.

How expensive is an Alfa Romeo Electric to lease?

At the time of writing (April 2024) there is still limited product available for electric fans. While hybrid and plug-in hybrid is well underway, the move to zero-emissions is a little slower. Only on the 10th of April did the Milano, a subcompact SUV, get formerly announced to the European market.

While similar to the Fiat 600 and Jeep Avenger, this model will have its own individuality. And more importantly this will be the group’s first EV in production. While this is aiming to replace the likes of the MiTo and Giulietta, the focus on style and finish is likely to arrive with a bigger price tag than some of the competition.

Is an electric Alfa Romeo Electric for me?

The pros and cons of getting an electric car is now a somewhat obvious and clear debate in the UK. For business customers, both the employer and employee do enjoy considerable taxation benefits from moving to zero-emissions and, so long as the product is suitable, this is an easy decision. But in the personal market for those considering a combustion Alfa vs an electric option, the absence of any taxation advantages could make the decision a little more convoluted.
To assist our customers understanding, we utilise clear and efficient data on each car to ensure that the product and EV lifestyle is properly understood. On every enquiry page our  “At a glance” and “Living with your …” properly set out the real world range, charging speeds, charging times, charge point locations, charge point installation and more.

Even our EVC™ supports the customer’s understanding, by offering a brief overview on the asset and an introduction to our key partners who can help you with the transition. Whole of life costs, which reflect the cost of the entire arrangement, are now highlighting the tremendous benefits of moving into all-electric transport.
