Ferrari Electric Lease Deals UK

Think of the most iconic and truly exhilarating car brands you can – which is the ultimate? In almost every case the word Ferrari will emanate from your mouth. The distinctive “Prancing Horse” on the bonnet tells you all you need to know; you are in for an unbeatable experience. And while options like the 296 GTB, Roma, Portofino and SUV Puosangue are undeniably petrol performance, electrification is very much on the agenda with the Italian supercar producer promising a number of key moments including:

  •  By 2026 approximately 60% of the vehicles sold will be either fully electric or hybrid; and
  •  By 2030, the Ferrari brand will be carbon neutral.

True to their word, the Ferrari brand engaged with lithium batteries via the SF90 Stradale, the first Plug-In Hybrid Electric vehicle architecture within the product suite. With an internal combustion engine and three electric motors, this epitome of sharpness is capable of 2.5 second 0-100 km times, 120kW of electric power and yet 154g/km of CO2 emissions. But starting at £375,000, this may be restricted to those UK customers with a healthy budget for their new car (or lottery winners!)

Why choose to lease a Ferrari?

The Ferrari name is a true icon. For many of us, this is the aspirational brand which we hope to one day experience. The conduit between passenger vehicles and motor sport, F1 performance is standard with this brand. And with the company investing into a new purpose-built facility for electric motors, battery packs and power inverters, this isn’t a side-line or bit part.

With promise for racing heritage and driver experience, the Marenello group are promising that the emotion will not be lost in replacement for the batteries. Indeed, engineers are designing noises, or sound signatures, which will emulate the noise of their petrol engines. As customers in the SF90 Stradale will attest, the supercar can travel up to 15 miles in e-mode. Plus there is no reverse gear; the car can move backwards electrically!

How expensive is a Ferrari electric to lease?

At the time of writing (February 2024), there is still no formal confirmation on exactly when we will witness the first EV. But in November 2023, the CEO did suggest that the production and engineering team were ahead of schedule, with an example ready to be available towards the end of 2025. And sales are set to be ready for 2026.

Rumours of what this Ferrari EV will constitute are still in play, with a Purosangue crossover / SUV suggested as the first model. A quad-electric motor setup, we would see a supercar with over 1000hp available.
With many new cars from Ferrari beginning at around £250,000 to £300,000, the battery tech is unlikely to alter this pricing approach. Expect a monthly leasing deal of around £2500 - £5000 contract and specification dependent.

Is an electric Ferrari for me?

Suitability of an electric battery is a little more complicated than a traditional combustion option. The fact that you are buying, or leasing, one of the ultimate car brands in the world does not deviate this responsibility. Running an electric car in 2024 is easier than ever, and with over 1 million vehicles now registered in the UK, it is fair to say this is no longer a new technology.

However, Ferrari leasing customers still need to take into account the key elements of the EV lifestyle. To help our UK customers, the “at a glance” and “living with your …” analysis for each supercar sets out charging times, charge point locations, company car tax calculations, full charge cost and cost per mile. Plus an energy performance-style certificate, which we call an EVC™ (Electric Vehicle Certificate), summarises this for you or the fleet manager. After winning the UK’s best electric broker in 2023 (twice), we can assure you of robust experience.
