Suzuki Electric Lease Deals UK

A lot of the attention in the world of electric cars, and vans, gets allocated to the Chinese brands. Especially new ones like BYD, GWM Ora and Omoda, who have no historic presence in the UK (or Europe). What it proves is that customers are receptive to anything so long as the vehicle is suitably priced, aesthetically pleasing and offers a robust EV experience (range, charging and beyond).

But for the Japanese brand Suzuki, with years of reputation and acumen in the UK, there is the distinct advantage of existing product knowledge and customer loyalty. Not to mention a collaboration with Toyota (who own a small percentage of the group). All the Suzuki team must do is produce a viable all-electric unit to supplement their existing plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, like the existing Suzuki Across PHEV.

Why choose to lease a Suzuki EV?

The Suzuki brand are well-known in the UK for producing simple and affordable vehicles, which meet the needs of the average household. Moving the UK to an all-electric vehicle economy, which is now a legal requirement under the ZEV Mandate, is possible only if we have a suitable vehicle demographic to do so.

Amazing innovations like the Porsche Macan EV, Range Rover EV and Rolls Royce Spectre are true electric pioneers. But they are reserved only for those customers with healthy budgets. Indeed, these are likely to be leased by leading wealthy businesses. For the average consumer and retail car customer, or smaller businesses, affordable electric cars which are likely to be produced by Suzuki help supplement this demand.

How expensive is a Suzuki Electric lease?

At the time of writing (May 2024) there is no electric car in production from the Japanese conglomerate. However, coming soon (2025) the UK can expect the Suzuki eVX a 4x4 EV with a 60 kWh battery and a circa 300-mile range. As per Suzuki Global  the brand will co-develop this with the Inmotive group, and this will feature a spectacular 2-speed EV transmission.

In utilising this engineering ingenuity, the Suzuki group are aiming to create one of the most efficient EVs on the market. But not at the cost of affordability. Early indication of prices is that the model will launch at around £30,000, bringing about leasing deals of circa £250 - £350 per month. Expect this to compete against the upcoming Vauxhall Frontera and the popular MG ZS, BYD Atto 3 and Citroen C4X.

Is a Suzuki Electric right for me?

Moving to an electric car, or van, should not be a decision made purely on the monthly price or the ticket price. What we try to educate our e-car customers on, via our amazing “living with your ...” tools and our innovative EVC™ is the EV lifestyle and all the constituent elements. When you move into an EV there are some amazing benefits – company car tax savings, cheaper fuel costs, better whole of life costs and the environmental impact – to name but a few. But there are corresponding obligations and elements which need to be considered along the way.

This may include the range (Warm AND cold), the charging times and the charging solutions. If you do not have a dedicated charge point, this is a necessary investment. As well as any EV-specific tariffs from an energy company, if you do want to enjoy cheaper overnight charging sessions. There are a number of pros and cons to your new Suzuki EV; just utilise our advice and guides before you do so in order to have the best possible experience.

How do I lease a new Suzuki Electric?

If you want to lease a new EV from our expert team, simply head to the relevant model(s) and build your perfect specification and contract. To be clear, we offer contract hire and leasing solutions, which are usership, so this isn’t to be pursued if you do want to own a car / van at contract end.

For those personal and business Suzuki customers looking for an incredible leasing service, create your ideal solution with our instant quote builder. Select a term, annual mileage, initial rental (including no deposit options) and maintenance provisions. Just note, that even though the Suzuki will be brand-new, and therefore covered by a warranty, the running and servicing costs need to be covered by the customer.
