With the UK being very much a pro-SUV and 4x4 automotive economy this is not a surprising move from the Stellantis backed manufacturer. The only interesting element of the new Grandland is that the Vauxhall group did not follow the pricing structure / methodology which was adopted with the new Frontera. In a very poignant and brave move, the Vauxhall group made the hybrid and electric options the exact same price.

However, for the latest model, there will be a £6,000 price differential between the hybrid and electric format, which is a little disappointing. With the BEV industry under a little pressure from the news and media, keeping up the positive stories and innovative solutions is so important.
