Leasing a Skoda Elroq in the UK

The Skoda brand has evolved into a manufacturer which is known for quality, comfort and, above all, value. Many years ago, the notion of driving a Skoda would instil fear into some UK leasing customers but when the Volkswagen Group acquired the Czech automobile company in 2000, there was a noticeable change in customer attitudes.

Combining the German quality for engineering with the Czech’s shrewd designs, the Skoda group emerged as a top talent in the UK. This has not subsided when it comes to electric cars, with the Enyaq recognised as a truly robust SUV to lease. Indeed, it was peculiar when the Skoda team didn’t build on the success of this EV with more options, like the VW and Cupra brands did.

However, at October 2024, Skoda are able to supply their customers with more than just the Enyaq – the new Skoda Elroq is now an option for those UK customers looking to buy or lease a compact SUV similar to options like the Hyundai Kona, Kia Niro EV and Volvo EX30

Built on the MEB Platform, which is the VW dedicated chassis and infrastructure, this is aiming to bring electric efficiency but not at the expense of cost. With the UK facing the challenges under the ZEV mandate, the price customers will pay for new and used EVs is now a hot topic.

In April 2026, the Skoda group decided to upgrade and amend their product offering and line-up for the UK leasing market.

But what options of the Elroq are available to lease?

As at 2026 the group have confirmed;

•  SEL – from £33,970 this version will have heated front seats, satellite navigation, drive mode select, comfort mats, 2-spoke leather heated steering wheel, LED lights, 19” alloys, traffic sign recognition, keyless stop/start, rear view camera, blind spot detection, front and rear parking sensors and the smart package; 
•  Edition – from £34,870  this adds unique styling and greater levels of comfort and safety such as the wireless charging with active cooling, keyless entry and walk away, privacy and acoustic glass and the dark chrome roof rails;
•  Sportline – from £37,820 this model will add dynamic sports styling with matrix LED lights, rear LED lights with animated indicators, sports seats, electric boot with virtual pedal and rear side airbags; 
•  RS– from £46,970 this model is the fastest and most aggressive option in the Elroq line-up. The key options include 20” alloys, free metallic paint, dynamic chassis control, HUD, illuminated tech-deck and AWD functionality.

Key colours on the Elroq include the Race Blue, Timiano Green, Velvet Red, Moon White, Black Magic, Steel Grey and Smokey Silver.

In terms of additional options, choose from the Winter package (heated windscreen, heated front and rear seats plus tri-zone climate), Maxx Package (parking assist with remote parking, trained parking, power-adjustable lumbar support, area view, HUD, Canton sound system, electrically adjustable seats, LED Matrix lights.

Cornering light function and electrically operated boot) and Advanced Package (sunblind for rear window, power-adjustable lumbar and massage driver seat, cornering light function, area view, Canton sound system, HUD, electrically adjustable driver seat and storage for rear seats).

The heat pump is available as an additional option (used for generating interior heat without demanding on the battery) as is the tow bar with adaptor (electrically retractable and pivoting).

But how does the new Elroq perform – is it a good solution for our lease customers?

•  60 - the 58 kWh lithium-ion battery will offer 0 – 62 times of 8.5 seconds, 99 mph top speeds and 140kW (or 188 hp). This model is a RWD option. Expect a combined winter range of 180 miles with warmer weather allowing for 245 miles – 210 miles combined. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 6 hour and 15 minute 0 – 100% charging times with the 105 kW DC maximum allowing 28 minute 10 – 80% times. This has a cargo volume of 470L and vehicle fuel equivalent of 146 mpg. Towing capacities are 750kg (unbraked) and 1000kg (braked). The heat pump is available but is an additional option. Bidirectional charging has been announced with the exterior Type 2 outlet and interior UK socket able to deliver 3.6kW AC;  

• 85 - the 77 kWh lithium-ion battery will offer 0 – 62 times of 6.6 seconds, 112 mph top speeds and 210kW (or 282hp). This model is a RWD option. Expect a combined winter range of 235 miles with warmer weather allowing for 320 miles – 280 miles combined. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 8 hour and 15 minute 0 – 100% charging times with the 165 kW DC maximum allowing 30 minute 10 – 80% times. This has a cargo volume of 470L and vehicle fuel equivalent of 147 mpg. Towing capacities are 750kg (unbraked) and 1800kg (braked). The heat pump is available but is an additional option. Bidirectional charging has been announced with the exterior Type 2 outlet and interior UK socket able to deliver 3.6kW AC; and

•  RS - the 77 kWh lithium-ion battery will offer 0 – 62 times of 5.4 seconds, 112 mph top speeds and 250kW (or 335hp). This model is an AWD option. Expect a combined winter range of 230 miles with warmer weather allowing for 315 miles – 275 miles combined. On charging, the 11 kW AC max will allow 8 hour and 15 minute 0 – 100% charging times with the 165 kW DC maximum allowing 30 minute 10 – 80% times. This has a cargo volume of 470L and vehicle fuel equivalent of 145 mpg. Towing capacities are 750kg (unbraked) and 1000kg (braked). The heat pump is available but is an additional option. Bidirectional charging has been announced with the exterior Type 2 outlet and interior UK socket able to deliver 3.6kW AC..
