Leasing a Volkswagen ID.7 in the UK

The fully electric ID.7 is the VW answer to the Passat. Having launched in 2023, the hatchback and tourer have quickly become a key part of the UK’s business leasing market, with a practical, ergonomic and functional battery choice.

The estate / tourer in particular, has become a key choice for those UK drivers who don’t want to go into an SUV option. In 2026 (May), the VW Group announced some robust battery and technological changes to ensure that the ID.7 continues to be one of the most-popular business vehicles going forwards.

The new ID.7 (MY 27) is looking to reinforce the standards of electric mobility for the VW fans with better ranges, faster charging and updated exterior and interior. The new digital cockpit with the electric air vents make for a more focused user experience with key options like the eroPremium seats (with massage) and electrically dimmable panoramic roof looking to set the vehicle apart.

Other key notes are the Climatronic front seats, AR HUD, voice assistant, ID.Sound, IQ.Lights, OTA updates and a swathe of travel and parking assist systems

As at May 2026, choose between the specifications below:

  •  Pro Match Plus / Pro S Match Plus – (Pro from £51,445 for the hatch and £52,225 for the tourer - Pro S £54,930 for the hatchback and £55,710 for the tourer) includes 19” alloys, heated front seats, privacy glass, electrically heated and folding door mirrors with puddle lights, massage seats;
  •  GTX – (between £59,640 for the hatchback and £60,400 for the tourer) this adds 20” alloys, heated rear seats, adaptive chassis control, rear shock absorption, adaptive chassis control, laminated safety glass, Harmon Kardon Sound System, inserts in front and outer rear seats, ventilated seats and curtain and side airbags.

Key colours include the Scale Silver, Aquamarine Blue, Grenadilla Black, Glacier White and Stonewashed Blue.

Key additional upgrades include the Exterior Plus Pack (area view, adaptive chassis, LED matrix lights, IQ.LIGHT, memory features, glass sunroof with electronic darkening, rear shock absorption and park assist pro), Interior Plus Pack (Harman Kardon sound, comfort seats, heated rear seats, interior ambient lighting, power adjustable lumbar support and ventilated seats), V2L adapter and the towbar.
