Working with the best electric car leasing broker is tough in 2025, simply because there are not many of us. While many companies attempted to specialise in BEVs, cars and vans, as we end 2025 the number of independently owned / family-run businesses has somewhat dwindled. 

Many companies have instead turned to plug-in (PHEV), hybrid and other combustion models to help solve the difficulties being faced through pure electric. This isn't a sign that going electric is not working, only that there are still obstacles to overcome and for solutions to be organised for some of the challenges.

As we finish our 5th year of mass adoption (which e-car believe is 2020), there is much to be heartened about moving forwards. On that note, e-car will remain as a pure EV car and van leasing website / procurement tool into 2026 and beyond.

A key part of our success in 2025 is our fantastic relationship with the VWFS group. While this includes Volkswagen, we also have access to tremendous EV deals from Audi, Cupra, Porsche and Skoda, who are all included within this group.

With growing pressure from Chinese brands in 2025 such as BYD, Xpeng, Geely, Changan and GWM, it is good to have equal competition from our European counterparts who have reacted to the pressure with rigorous enthusiasm. Creating a quality EV market will of course be driven by economies of scale and competition from the various manufacturers and brands operating in this unique segment.

With the VW Group now harnessing some considerable scale, we have noticed further investment into battery technology, aesthetics and functionality to ensure their vehicles are class-leading. When you consider the likes of the Cupra Born, VW ID.7 and Skoda Enyaq, you have 3 examples of some of the best cars within their requisite class. 

As a result, the e-car lease relationship with VWFS - Volkswagen Financial Services - has grown immeasurably. In 2025 we will supply more VW products than any other brand, which goes against the grain of many competitors now pushing BYD and Tesla almost exclusively.

The incredible investment and hard-work of the e-car lease team saw our business named the Leasing Broker of the Year for 2025 as voted by the dealership groups. This was kindly reported in the Broker News recently. As a broker, we introduce our customers to the finance company (VWFS) and utilise recognised national dealerships to deliver the vehicles to the customers.

In essence, we are the conduit to their new car. The award is fitting for our business, given our history as a former Audi and VW dealership (in 1974!). Flash forward to 2025 and you have the e-car lease team delivering high level service, care and diligence to personal and business contract hire customers. With VW continuing to grow their all-electric vehicles, we look forward to delivering many more.
