Leasing a BMW iX3 in the UK

The German powerhouse BMW have now updated their X3 electric ready for 2025 and 2026. Having launched their original iX3 in 2020, the mid-size SUV proved to be a positive addition to the group, with the 80kWh battery and 210kW (282hp) offering drivers a robust experience.

However, 5 years later, the world of electrification has moved on significantly and the engineers behind the zero-emission project at BMW needed to modernise and update this best-seller. Credit to them, as the all-new iX3 is one of the most competent and robust SUVs on the leasing market.

Having been announced in early 2024 and now launched in September 2025, this new iX3 is described as the “first of a new era”. The latest iX3 will be based on the Neue Klasse architecture, which is essentially a dedicated EV infrastructure. What this means is one of the longest-range vehicles in class, extraordinary charging capabilities and some of the best digital technology within a vehicle.

Without a doubt this is setting new standards for UK drivers and offering true alternatives to the likes of the BYD Sealion 7, Tesla Model Y and Polestar 3.

So what BMW iX3 specification options are there?

As at September 2025, you can choose between:

  •  Base Line - £58,755 – standard with 20” alloys, Driving Assistant Plus, wireless charging, active guard, automatic tailgate, expanded exterior mirror package, LED headlights, air conditioning with 2-zone pre-conditioning, electric front seats, BMW Dynamic Performance Control, Dynamic Brake Control and front heated seats;
  •  M Sport - from £61,255 this includes 20” alloys, M Black interior design, front / rear bumpers, roof spoiler, BMW Panoramic Vision, sports steering wheel and dark blue calipers; and
  • M Sport Pro - from £62,755 this includes M Sport seat belts, BMW Iconic Glow, red calipers and Front M Sport Seats.

In terms of colours choose between Alpine White, Space Silver, Polarised Grey, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire and Ocean Blue.

A whole host of 20” - 22” alloy upgrades are available, such as the 1046 Bicolour 20” or the 22” 1053 Bicolour options. Some of the interiors include the Vivid Grey, Contemporary Digital White, Contemporary Black or the Castanea.

In terms of additional packages, consider the Technology Plus Pack (3-zone air conditioning, 3D HUD and Harman/Kardon surround sound). Other options include sun protection glass, panoramic glass sunroof, Iconic Glow, heated steering wheel and the towbar (which includes Trailer Stability Control).
