Awash with technology like the Drive Asset 2.0 and Matrix LED lights plus the ergonomics for a car designed as Lounge (a generous wheelbase and flexible seating), this is being targeted as the perfect family solution. With EV highlights, like 210hp performance, 30 minute fast charging and an 11kW AC infrastructure, this is aiming to be a best-seller in 2025 and beyond.

In the all-electric version of this new option you can choose from:

• YOU! - from £34,065 this includes rear parking sensors, keyless start, electric and heated door mirrors, air conditioning, LED interior lighting, comfort suspension, adaptive cruise control and 19” alloys;

• Plus - from £36,705 this adds LED  ambient lighting, front parking sensors, rear camera, proximity keyless entry and 19” Moondust alloys; and
• Max - from £39,345 this adds aluminium foot pedals, VisioPark 360, electric folding mirrors with defrost, Drive Assis Pakc 2.0

Colours include Eclipse Blue, Perla Nera Black, Ruby Red, Okenite White, Platinum Grey and Astoria Green. Key additional options include the Heat Pump (heat pump heats the passenger compartment much more efficiently than a conventional heating system - it consumes 4 to 6 times less energy and thus preserves battery autonomy) and the removable towbar for £700. 

But how does the Citroen C5 Comfort Range perform?

• Comfort Range - with a usable battery of 73.7 kWh this FWD SUV offers 157 kW (268hp), top speeds of 106 mph and 0-62 times of 8.9 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 210 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 285 miles (on a full charge) - 250 miles combined . The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 8 hours with the 160kW DC enabling 10-80% in 36 minutes. The SUV has no confirmed Bidirectional charging. It has a 137 mpg equivalent, 565L cargo volume (1668L with the seats down) and offers towing capacities of 750kg (unbraked) and 1250kg (braked). The heat pump is available as a cost option.
