Lease a Cupra Tavascan in the UK

The UK is very much a nation of SUV fans. The allure of the higher driving position, boot space, practicality and aesthetics, has fuelled demand over the last 10 – 15 years. All-electric SUVs are no different to their combustion counterparts, with many personal and business leasing customers preferring the 4x4 configuration over the traditional saloon and estate approach.

So, when Cupra added the Tavascan option to supplement their Born hatchback in 2024, it was no real surprise. However, what perhaps did surprise us was the impact the Tavascan had on the UK leasing market and the extent of its popularity.

From Barcelona to the world, this sporty inspiration is a high-tech design SUV which the team consider to be a “masterpiece”. Described as powerful, thrilling, dynamic and with a striking presence, the EV offers matrix LED exterior lighting, dynamic driving with the upgraded DCC sport, nappa leather bucket seats, interior ambient lighting with backlit panels and a fully digital experience with the 15” screen and 10.25” digital cockpit. The updated model (2026) will also feature vehicle to load functionality too.

In terms of the models / versions, Cupra will be offering the following options and models:

  •  Origin – from £39,995 this includes 19” Vulcano alloys, bucket seats, heated front seats and a 10.25” digital cockpit;
  •  V1 – from £41,995 this adds a heated leather steering wheel, travel assist and KESSY;
  •  V2 – from £44,495 this adds 20” HECKLA alloys, bucket seats with 12-way electrical adjustment, Sennheiser premium audio and top view camera;
  •  VZ1 - from £54,930 this includes 21” KATLA machined alloys, panoramic sunroof, Matrix LED headlights and augmented HUD; and
  •  VZ2 - from £59,830 this adds 2” ETNA forged alloys, performance tyres, CUP bucket seats and Sennheiser audio.

Key colours include century bronze, dark void, tavascan blue, atacama desert, white silver, midnight black and basalt grey. One of the key options includes the winter pack which adds the heat pump and heated windscreen.
