Hyundai Ioniq 3 Car leasing
One of the big changes in 2026 has been the move away from manufacturers just creating bigger SUV and 4x4 EVs with larger battery setups.
Much of this is down to the UK public confidence in electrified solutions as efficiency and range increases nicely in-keeping with charging solutions. So, for a brand like the South Korean Hyundai, this is welcome news as it engages with the smaller hatchback segment and the launching of their new Ioniq 3.
Simplicity and style, the new compact yet roomy EV from Hyundai is set to combine a bold design with practical and engaging technology. A genuine five-seat vehicle, this is very much about creating the comfortable journey for UK drivers. With the choice of a 42kWh and 61kWh, there is battery configuration to suit most ranges you would need.
Optimised for performance, the engineers have focused on subtle aerodynamic features and efficiency, which is of the upmost importance on smaller battery vehicles. But far from being a boring vehicle, this uses the “Aero Hatch” for a sleek silhouette appearance with IONIQ family pixel lighting. Inside the “Furnished Space” is about a comfortable yet intuitive cockpit for the driver.
Add in the ability to use your phone as a key, the multitude of internal storage spaces, V2L technology and 441 litres of space too, to make this a creditable choice for an EV. All European models include the PLEOS connect, which is Hyundai’s next generation infotainment system.
As at July 2025, UK customers can chose between:
Add additional options like the Comfort Pack, Design Pack and EV Pack.
Key colours include Aurora Grey, Ice Blue, Lumen Grey, Phantom Black, Fierce Red and Atlas White.

The latest innovation from Hyundai is small and exciting, with bundles of character, but this is still a proposition which needs researching. The main finance product we offer for electric cars is Contract hire and leasing.
As a longer-term finance product of 2 – 4 years, based on the annual mileage, with no ability to return without paying an Early Termination figure (ET), it is a serious commitment. Although leasing is beneficial, because you can use it and return it at contract end with no residual value risk, this still needs a good level of understanding.
Helping a customer to understand the asset is crucial to us. Our key document, the EVC™ (Electric Vehicle Certificate), is integrated into the quotation and order process for this reason. This sets out key aspects like the real-world range, charging speeds, charging times, cost per mile and company car tax.
To make the green journey even easier, you can use the EVC™ to access our partners like Zapmap. Personal, business and salary sacrifice customers will find this of importance.
Do also review our Trustpilot to see what the electric customers, existing and new, think about the e-car team too. For more help on the electric transition, just get in touch with our team on 01942 910 001 or by emailing us at [email protected]We care about your feedback
