Leasing the new Mercedes GLC in the UK

One of the most iconic SUVs of all time is entering the electric car conversation – the GLC Electric. For the last 10 years, the petrol and diesel GLC has been the backbone of the UK’s core personal and business market. While the EQC, the EV version of this model did arrive in the market, this was not quite the zero-emission equivalent of what we knew Mercedes to be.

Although the EQC lasted between 2019 and 2023 in production, the Mercedes marketing team took the brand in a completely different direction for 2025 and beyond. Moving away from the traditional “EQ” A/B/C/E derivatives, the German engineers will now be returning to a name of old. The GLC Electric is very much reminiscent of what it means to have a Mercedes; the re-evolution is now here.

Authentic and versatile, the innovative SUV is distinctly coupe-style with refined proportions and iconic features. The sky control panoramic roof allows for a bright refined space with shimmering design and the seamless Hyperscreen is the ultimate technology experience.

Packed with technology like the 5G module, wireless charging for mobiles, USB package plus, electrically adjustable seats and the 4-way lumbar support are noted.

Choice is something which will also continue with this model, with 5 configurable options:

  •  Sport –  from £55,495 (for the 250) and £60,350 (for the 400) this includes 20” alloys, easy-pack tailgate, heat and noise insulating glass, privacy glass, ambient lighting, comfort seats, heated front seats, 2-zone climate control, 10” Driver display, 14” central display, 14” digital trim display, blind spot assist, smartphone integration with wireless charging, park assist and reversing camera and selfie and video camera;
  •  AMG Line –  from £58,495 (for the 250) and £63,350 (for the 400)   this adds 20” AMG alloys, AMG Line bodystyling, surround lighting, ambient lighting, memory seat package, multifunction steering wheel, MBUX superscreen and Entertainment package for 3 years;
  •  AMG Line Premium – from £63,495 (for the 250) and £68,350 (for the 400)  this adds 20” 10 spoke alloys, Digital Light, keyless-go package (flush-fitting door handles), active ambient lighting, dual wireless charging, winter packages (heated wipers), 39.1” hyperscreen, Burmester sound system, digital key for signature, augmented reality navigation, paring package with 360 degree camera and transparent bonnet;
  •  AMG Line Premium Plus – £65,995 (for the 250)  and £70,850 (for the 400)  this adds 21” alloys, heated rear seats, high-end seat with massage and climate control, illuminate pattern in the panoramic roof, 4D surround sound, augmented HUD and project functions for Digital Light; and
  •  Premier Edition – from £68,495 (for the 250) and £73,350 (for the 400)  this adds 21” multi-spoke alloys, Night Package, MB Iconic Grille, leather upholstery in black and AMG spoiler in black.

Key colours on the GLC EV include obsidian black, polar white, lavender silver, sodalite blue, sapphire blue, opalite white, Patagonia red and alpine grey. In terms of other options, consider the Sustainable Package (vegan package), Refinement Package (air suspension) and trailer coupling with ESP stability (the trailer hitch).

You can also add dealer-fit running boards (as per the last models) and the 22kW AC charging upgrade.
