Leasing the new Mercedes GLB in the UK

One of the UK’s most-popular 7 seater EV’s is getting a fresh revision for 2026 and beyond. The immensely desirable EQB is being changed to the GLB, as the Mercedes marketing team embark on a new vision for the German automotive powerhouse. Moving forwards, any new zero-emission vehicles within the group are being rebranded, with the EQA / B / C references now on run-out.

For the next generation, and evolution, of Mercedes product they will be returning to their former glory with the GLB Electric (or EQ Technology) now the reference for the 7-seater in the UK automotive market.

Boxy by design, the all-electric GLB is a practical and ergonomic SUV which still maintains itself as a paramount family car. In a big refresh, the team have integrated the MB.OS (Operating System) for an intelligent and convenient driving experience but still retains the 3rd row for up to 7 occupants. Choice is something which will also continue with this model, with 5 configurable options:

  •  Sport –  from £46,100 key highlights include the panoramic roof, 18” alloys, LED lights, Mirror Package, heated front seats, 4-way lumbar support, selfie and video camera with facial recognition, MBUX smartphone integration and navigation, 14” media display and blind sport assist;
  •  Sport Executive – from £48,050 this adds heat insulated dark tinted glass, 10” alloys, flush door handles, wireless phone charging, artico leather, hands free access and keyless-go package;
  •  AMG Line Executive –  from £51,050 this adds surround lighting , 19” 5-spoke alloys, AMG bodystyling, Sports seat package, multifunction steering wheel and nappa-look man-made leather;
  •  AMG Line Premium – from £56,800 this adds 20” alloys, memory package, automatic climate control, augmented reality navigation, MBUX superscreen with multimedia system;
  •  AMG Line Premium Plus – from £57,800 this adds heated wiper blades, 20” alloys, Night Package, heated steering wheel, Burmester 3D sound, HUD, 360 camera and Pre-Safe system.

Key colours on the GLB EV include night black, polar white, aqua-mint, sapphire blue, high-tech silver, cosmos black, Patagonia red and alpine grey. In terms of other options, consider adding the trailer coupling with ESP stability (the trailer hitch) or the DC charging upgrade which allows the vehicle to access 400V / 100kW solutions as well as the standard 800V options.
