Leasing a Renault 4 SUV in the UK

For a manufacturer riding the crest of a wave after a “Car of the Year 2025” award for their “5” e-tech hatchback, the Renault group have certainly not been stagnant with their approach to vehicle innovation and engineering. To supplement this incredible vehicle, a small SUV is now available in the form of the Renault 4 e-tech. A “metamorphosis of a legend” the new 4 will bring back another old classic in a practical and family-friendly format.

The new 4 will be reinvigorating the original grille with a more contemporary logo and lighting system plus utilising a 3-part LED light system, distinctive quarter panel rear window system and sculpted door sills.

There is also an iconic pleid sud™  canvas or fixed roof to make this EV really stand out. Customisable at a granular level, the Renault 4 is really something which you can make your own. So, what specifications and options are available with the Renault 4?

As at July 2025, you can configure your new SUV with the following options below:

•  Evolution – from £26,995 this includes 18” black diamond alloys, 10.1” central touchscreen media system, auto wipers, electrically adjustable mirrors, rear view camera, rear parking sensors, climate air conditioning, key card and heat pump;       

•  Techno – from £28,995 this adds 18” “sixties” alloys, privacy glass, adaptive cruise, autohold, hands free parking, paddle shifters, wireless phone charger and Arkamys audio; and     

•  Iconic – from £30,995 this adds 18” “parisienne” alloys, 100% recycled upholstery, heated front seats, 48 colour ambient lighting, intelligent adaptive cruise control, colour contrast roof, hands-free tailgate.

In terms of colours choose from Carmin Red, Urban Grey, Glacier White, Diamond Black, Hauts-de-France Green and Cumulus Blue. Upgrade to the extended black bonnet for just £100.

How does the Renault 4 small family-car perform?

There will be two battery options for UK customers including:

• 40kWh 120hp  - this FWD has a usable battery of 40kWh which offers 90kW (121hp), top speeds of 93mph and 0-62 times of 9.2 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 125 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 175 miles (on a full charge) – 150 miles combined . The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 4 hours and 30 mins with the 80 kW DC enabling 10-80% in 32 minutes. The EV has Bidirectional capability - the V2L will offer 1 exterior port for 3.7kW AC output. It has a 152 mpg equivalent, 420L cargo volume and towing capacity is 750kg (Braked) and (Unbraked). The Heat Pump will be standard on the Renault 4; and
• 52kWh 120hp  from £28,000 this FWD has a usable battery of 52kWh which offers 110kW (148hp), top speeds of 93mph and 0-62 times of 8.2 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 165 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 225 miles (on a full charge) – 195 miles combined . The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 5 hours and 45 mins with the 100 kW DC enabling 10-80% in 33 minutes. The EV has Bidirectional capability - the V2L will offer 1 exterior port for 3.7kW AC output. It has a 152 mpg equivalent, 420L cargo volume and towing capacity is 750kg (Braked) and (Unbraked). The Heat Pump will be standard on the Renault 4.
