The year 2026 is set to be a momentous one for the VW Group. With the new VW ID.Polo, Cupra Raval and now the Skoda Epiq all confirmed, affordability and functionality are high on the manufacturer’s agenda. Agile and stylish, the Epiq is a compact SUV “with a big potential” and which aims to provide stylish design and spacious interior in a small SUV.

Building upon their popular Enyaq and Elroq, the UK is very much looking forward to the next-generation of Skoda electric product.

Small SUV solutions, with pocket-pinching leasing costs, are always a favourite for UK customers. With battery confidence now at an all-time high, plus with a great array of public charging solutions, the demand for bigger battery options (with a higher price tag) is not quite as high. Specifications to marvel at and packages which allow you to tailor this car to what you need, means that the new Epiq is going to be a big seller.

So what options are available in the Skoda Epiq?

As at June 2026 choose from:

•  SE L – from £24,950 this will include 18” Plover alloy wheels, 5.3” digital driver display, 13” touchscreen, predictive adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, LED lights, floor mats, wireless smartphone integration, rain sensing wipers, Lane Assist, high beam assistant and interior driver camera monitoring;
• Edition - from £27,700 this adds 18” Saola alloys, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, mobile digital key, rear view camera and privacy glass; and
•  First Edition - from £31,450 this adds 20” Macaw alloys, orange window trim and orange seatbelts, black roof and 3-spoke artificial steering wheel. 

Key colours include the Marble Grey, Timano Green, Mystery Black, Pebble Silver, Jasper Red and Platinum White. Some of the key options to add to your Epiq include include the panoramic sunroof, electrically retractable towbar and alloy wheel upgrades. Create your bespoke option at the Skoda website. 

How will the new Skoda Epiq SUV perform?

Will it be a good EV? At the time of launch you can choose between 2 key battery options including:

•  Epiq 40 - with a usable battery of 37.5kWh this FWD compact SUV offers 99kW (133hp), top speeds of 93 mph and 0-62 times of 9.8 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 120 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 170 miles (on a full charge) – 145 miles combined . The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 4 hours with the 90 kW DC enabling 10-80% in 26 minutes. This EV has Bidirectional charging – V2L with an exterior Type 2 exterior outlet. It has a 156 mpg equivalent and 475L cargo volume. The car can tow 500kg (Braked and Unbraked); and
• Epiq 55 - with a usable battery of 51.7kWh this FWD compact SUV offers 155kW (208hp), top speeds of 99 mph and 0-62 times of 7.1 seconds. Real-world ranges suggest a combined 165 miles in colder weather with warmer temperatures to allow for 230 miles (on a full charge) – 200 miles combined . The 11kW AC allows for 0-100% charging times of 5 hours and 45 minutes with the 105kW DC enabling 10-80% in 24 minutes. This EV has Bidirectional charging – V2L with an exterior Type 2 exterior outlet. It has a 157 mpg equivalent and 475L cargo volume. The car can tow 750kg (Unbraked) and 1200kg (Braked).
